Kadee henderson

Kadee Henderson was the first musician in four years to earn a 75 point gold cup from the Utah Federation Of Music Clubs.  Throughout her eleven year run as a top performer for the UFMC, she earned a total of eight gold cups for superior performances of solos, duets, concertos, and quartets. Additionally, she was invited out of hundreds to perform at the Honor’s Recital, as well as for the leaders of the UFMC.

Kadee became a member of Utah Valley University’s  National Music Teachers Association collegiate chapter in 2011 while pursuing music at Utah Valley University. She had the privilege of studying privately under Dr. Hilary Demske, Dr. Koji Attwood, and Ms. Joanna Oshida. Kadee spent one semester teaching the director of Continuing Education as part of Dr. Demske’s Pedagogy course, where she learned effective teaching techniques and strategies. She brings the same dedication and structure to her music teaching that she used during the course of her studies. She enjoyed learning more about good teaching and performance strategies as a member of the UVU collegiate chapter and Contrapuntalist Club. In March 2014, she performed as a finalist in the UVU Rebecca Marriott Champion Piano Competition. Kadee graduated from Utah Valley University with an Associate of Science degree in Piano Performance and a Bachelor of Science degree in Integrated Studies with emphases in Piano Performance and English in 2015.

Kadee has 17 years of music experience, which includes playing the clarinet and acoustic guitar. She regularly serves as an accompanist for college students as well as musicians around her community.  She hopes to continue her piano studies in addition to starting her own music studio someday, as music has been and continues to be a strong passion for her.
